Hello and welcome to ‘Freedom Graffiti’!

My name is Bereket, and I began creating this website after being awarded the Media-box grant from CSV.

I started creating this website during July and August 2009, with my friend Brian and some technical support Charnwood Arts.

The main aim of this website is to make people aware of all different cultures and races. It also gives a voice to young people who want to share their culture in a positive way.

Through this website, we hope to provide a place where you can upload your own artwork, leave your messages and be inspired by others.

Through making this website, I have learnt the technical side of the process and how to plan and manage a project, which is immensely time consuming and challenging. I had a lot of fun in the process of making the website, as it enabled me to play around with new equipment, such as a graphics tablet, which lets you draw directly onto the computer with a pen. It was also fun working with people from Charnwood Arts.
